MELAZERO : YOUR SOLUTION TO HYPERPIGMENTATION [NEW 2024]

ILEESH JERAGAT

Hyperpigmentation is a common skin problem that many people face and is caused by excess melanin production.  Melanin are compounds that serve predominantly as pigments. These pigments are derivatives of the amino acid, tyrosine and the 2 main types of naturally occurring pigments that affect skin colour are eumelanin and pheomelanin.  Most whitening agents act by inhibiting melanin production; however, existing melanin deposits are left untargeted.

5 reasons to use Melazero:

WHAT IS MELAZERO?

1 product 2 whitening mechanisms, Melazero is a phyto whitening agent that blocks the melanogenesis pathway and utilizes Autophagy, a Nobel prize-winning mechanism to erase existing melanin!

  1. Blocking melanogenesis pathway
  • Inhibits both Pheomelanin and Eumelanin
  1. Autophagy
  • Autophagy is a mechanism that taps on our cell’s own capability to destroy its contents by enclosing its membrane. To explain it simply, think of a pacman which represents our cell, eating up melanin and degrading it into amino acids which can be used by our body.

EVIDENCE OF EFFICACY

Activating autophagy:

Activating autophagy 1

Fluorescence observed in Melazero treated cells indicate the activation of autophagy. Arbutin, another whitening agent does not trigger autophagy.

Melanogenesis inhibition:

All except the control (-), were treated with α-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α -MSH). α -MSH stimulates the production and release of melanin by melanocytes in the skin and hair.  It is evident that Melazero is capable of reducing tyrosinase and melanin.

Effectiveness compared to kojic acid:

Effectiveness compared to kojic acid 1

Melazero has higher efficacy in reducing melanin as compared to kojic acid.

Whitening effect observed after 2 weeks:

Whitening effect 1

A clinical test conducted on 22 individuals shows that Melazero is able to deliver results quickly. In just 2 weeks, melanin value decreased from 163.99 to 144.17! Other whitening agents require a minimum of 4 weeks to produce similar results.

Safety tests

Safety test 1

1% of Melazero is non-toxic and is able to retain the cells’ normal morphology. It is safer than kojic acid.

Whitening effect 1 1

According to cytoxicity test, cells remained viable even when a dosage of 2% of Melazero was used.

Melazero patch test 1

According to the patch test performed on 34 people, Melazero does not trigger skin irritation.
